2025 Taxsaver Fares Determination

Taxsaver fares changes

The National Transport Authority (NTA) is implementing a new zonal ticketing system for the Dublin Commuter Area as part of the 2024 public transport Fares Determination, which affects the Taxsaver fare structure.

These changes aim to make travel more flexible and convenient for commuters with existing Taxsaver products being simplified and fare levels adjusted.

The introduction of the new Dublin Commuter Zone, which consists of a series of zones extending to approximately 50km from Dublin city centre, will see the introduction of a range of Taxsaver products which will allow unlimited multi-modal travel within the zone purchased along with zones closer to Dublin city centre.
